It is no secret now that Hot Box HB-DD Dual Drive was made by Demonfx for us, I personally wanted one and did not want to wait 4 years to get one so working with Demonfx closely on many other projects that came out so perfect I trusted Demonfx and so we cloned one and arrived at the HB-DD Dual Drive. That came out so perfect it sometimes was hard with eyes closed to tell the difference, but then customers started asking for massive distortion and we came on the DemonFx King of Drive, that has sold TONSSSSS, so the next step was the V4 as a Hot Box HB-DD II V4, that unit was as strange to customers as the name HOT BOX Pedals  as they never heard of us before so sales was a bit slow therefore I have finally released the HB-DD II v4 as well under DemonFx King of Drive II. Now you know the history.

PS I have only made 100 units in total of the Demonfx King of Drive II v4 and not sure if I will repeat that, time will tell. The Hot Box Dual Drive II v4  of course in Burgundy is identical and many available. Chuck

Demonfx Handmade Professional Overdrive Distortion King of Drive II V4 Guitar Effect Pedal True bypass

This amazing Demonfx pedal is hand-wired based on the Legendary King of tone v4 overdrive pedal, and it’s fully hand-wired and using high quality components and the same circuit as the original one, and using the precious plug-in components (DIP) only like the original. So, it is close to the original sound as they come.

There is also a 4 position DIP switch on the inside of the effect pedal, which you can use to choose between Clean, OD or Distortion mode for each side, we designed this switch to allow almost anyone to be able to find the exact sounds they want in this effect pedal. We also placed toggle switches on the outside so you do not have to keep opening the pedal to achieve this. ( Some say repositioning the toggle switches will make a pop-ing sound, that is true sometimes, the idea is to play with the switches in LOWER Volume until you get the tone that makes you KUM hehe, and that is it. You are not controlling a TRAIN SET. If you like 2 settings buy a 2nd pedal set that to your desired 2nd tones and combine the 2, for the price compared to the original you can afford to do just that.

• Normal Overdrive mode (OD mode): This is the standard King of Tone sound, which a little less drive available than a tube screamer. Factory DIP switch setting has this mode on the right side. This Mode can get about 4 times louder than a tube screamer if desired add a hi again switch to choose the high gain and norm mode.
• CLEAN mode: This mode has less distortion, it can be used for clean boosts or clearer, louder sounds. It’s sort of a cross between a true clean boost and an overdrive. Clean Mode is even less compressed than the standard OD mode. The factory DIP switch setting uses this mode on the left channel. This mode can get twice as loud as the OD mode.
• DISTORTION mode: This mode has more drive than the standard mode, a touch of hard distortion. The sound is more compressed, yet retains the pedal’s character. This mode can get almost twice as loud as a tube screamer, Distortion mode is not a either side with the factory DIP switch setting.
