The eccentric blues guitarist Greg Koch, also known as “Gristleman”, is a highly gifted and expressive musician. The tall American has a unique style in which he combines fast, “chicken picked” hybrid citing with walking bass lines. He plays all of this with a warm, slightly distorted sound color – and this is exactly where Tone City comes into play.
 
The Lil Heat is based on the Sweet Cream, but puts it on it with everything! The bonus here is a touch more gain and a more sowing bass area. This fiery effect pedal delivers great “Edge-of Breakup” sounds as you know it from a real vintage amp. The result is suitable for precise technical subtleties in Greg’s game as well as for large rock chords.
 
 Simply present the Lil Heat in front of a clean amplifier, and you are ready for use. He also makes himself excellent as a transparent overdrive in the clone style if you want to combine it with other pedals in your setup.
